Attach the guide to the sharpened part of the blade. Holding the guide with one hand and the knife handle with the other, the ceramic part touches the surface of the grinding stone or diamond sharpener. Move the knife back and forth across the stone using a little pressure - then turn the knife and repeat the previous procedure. Move the guide along the entire length of the blade and repeat the process. After sharpening, clean the knife with a damp cloth or water and then dry it. Clean the surface of the leash with water and a soft brush.

Maintenance and warnings
Do not wash the leash in the dishwasher. If the guide is contaminated with metal particles, remove it with a sponge under running water. You can use baking soda on a sponge (we do not recommend detergent). After washing, dry the leash thoroughly. Keep the leash and sharpened blades out of the reach of children to prevent unnecessary accidents.
