Silky KPS-190 Professional Kitchen Shears
The Silky KPS-190 kitchen shears were designed for professional kitchens and demanding home use. They combine exceptional sharpness, durability, and hygienic properties, which are essential for daily work with food. Thanks to their thoughtful design, they focus on what matters most—fast, precise, and safe cutting.
The blades are made of high-quality Japanese AUS-8 (8A) stainless steel and hardened to a hardness of approximately 58 HRC, ensuring long-lasting sharpness and greater durability than standard kitchen shears. Precise sharpening and fine micro-serration on the blade allow for a stable grip on the material when cutting meat, fish, and other ingredients, preventing them from slipping.
The large ergonomic handle made of heat-resistant CALP resin provides a secure grip even during prolonged use. The material is resistant to temperatures up to 120 °C, allowing the scissors to be sterilized with hot water or by boiling. This makes them ideal for environments with high hygiene standards, such as professional kitchens, catering, or food processing facilities.
Each pair of Silky scissors undergoes a process of cold forging using a hydraulic press followed by precision grinding on NC grinding machines, ensuring high precision and quality of workmanship.
The scissors are manufactured by Marusho Industry Co., Ltd. in the famous Japanese city of Seki in Gifu Prefecture, which has been considered the center of knife and cutting tool production for centuries.
