Forged Brown Scar Damascus

Dellinger® Forged Brown Scar Damascus - Hand Forged Damascus & Natural Materials

Japanese-style knives from the Dellinger Forged Brown Scar Damascus series are the most versatile tools in the kitchen. In this category you will find knives that combinetraditional Japanese principles of sharpness and geometry with sandalwood handles and precision craftsmanship. They are visually stunning and fit perfectly in the hand of both right and left-handed people. Every chef will appreciate not only their exceptional design, but also the perfect ergonomics of the octagonal wooden handle.

The base is a hand-forged blade made of multi-layered damascus steel with a hard core of 10Cr15CoMoV steel. This high-quality stainless steel from China is one of the most popular materials for the production of kitchen knives. Its composition and properties are reminiscent of the well-known Japanese VG-10 steel. Hand forging gives each knife its original texture and unique surface pattern, making each piece unique. The core of the blade is wrapped on each side with 33 layers of SS304 & SS430 stainless steels .

The thin cut and sharp blade angle allow for smooth and precise cutting of meat, fish, vegetables and herbs without unnecessary pressure. The rounded blade tip increases comfort when working and provides better control for longer cutting sessions.

The octagonal sandalwood handle impresses with its two-tone design with contrasting darker bolster. Sandalwood handles are one of the most highly valued elements in quality knives. Sandalwood is a hard, dense and stable wood that resists humidity and temperature changes perfectly, so that it retains its shape and strength in the long term. Thanks to its natural oils, it is pleasant to the touch, does not slip in the hand and acquires an even nicer, slightly satin patina over time. It is also characterised by its warm colouring - from light browns to darker reddish-brown tones - which gives the knife an elegant and luxurious look. Sandalwood is traditionally used in Japanese knives, where it is valued not only for its properties but also for its aesthetics and sense of balance when used. The sandalwood handle thus combines functionality, durability and premium appearance.

The knives in this series are designed with an emphasis on balance, ergonomics and long-term working comfort, combining the craftsmanship of a hand-forged blade with a clean, aesthetic design.

The knives are designed for:

- discerning home cooks

- professionals looking for a reliable working tool

- customers who want performance, originality and aesthetics in one knife
