Rosewood Damascus
Rose Wood Damascus – Damascus knives with character
The Dellinger® Rose Wood Damascus series combines a distinctive Damascus pattern, a cutting core made from 10Cr15CoMoV steel and elegant handles made from natural Rose Wood. The range includes versatile kitchen knives as well as specialised shapes for peeling, bread and boning.
A series for everyday cooking and more demanding kitchen tasks
The knives are built around a cutting core made from 10Cr15CoMoV steel with a hardness of approximately 61 ± 1 HRC. In its properties, this steel is comparable to Japanese VG-10 .
The core is surrounded by 66 layers of stainless Damascus steel, creating the characteristic blade pattern. The result is a series that combines functional kitchen tools with a distinctive appearance.
Thanks to several different blade shapes, you can choose one versatile knife for most kitchen tasks or gradually build a complete kitchen set in a consistent design.

Ame no Shizuku – “raindrops”
The Ame no Shizuku (雨の雫) Damascus pattern resembles delicate circles and ripples formed when raindrops fall onto the surface of water.
Thanks to the multilayer construction, each knife has a slightly different pattern. These subtle differences give every blade its own character.
Rose Wood – natural material, every piece is slightly different
The Western-style handles are made from natural Rose Wood. The warm wood grain creates an elegant contrast with the Damascus blade.
Because it is a natural material, individual handles may vary slightly in shade, grain and small details. These differences are a natural feature of the wood.

How to care for Rose Wood Damascus® knives
Do not wash the knives in a dishwasher. Wash them by hand after use and dry thoroughly.
Do not cut hard or frozen foods or bones unless the specific knife is designed for them. Never use the knife as a pry bar.
Use a wooden or high-quality synthetic cutting board. Glass and ceramic surfaces can dull the edge more quickly.
Sharpening and long-term care
For knives with a plain edge, we recommend water stones or diamond sharpening stones . For regular edge restoration, you can start with approximately 1000 grit and finish with 3000–6000 grit. The serrated edge of the Bread knife requires a different sharpening method.
