DIN 1.4116 stainless steel
All four knives use German DIN 1.4116 stainless steel. It is a practical material for everyday kitchen use, offering a good balance of sharpness, corrosion resistance and easy maintenance.
Pakkawood composite wood handles
The Pakkawood composite handles have an ergonomic Western shape. Decorative elements and the samurai motif highlight the character of the entire German Black Samurai series.
Which knife should you choose?
Larger vegetables, meat and main preparation: choose the Chef 200 mm, which provides a sufficiently long cutting edge and room for smooth work.
Smaller portions and better control: The Chef 155 mm offers similarly versatile use in a more compact format.
Bread and pastries: use the Bread 198 mm with its serrated edge. A smooth chef’s knife would press unnecessarily on the crust.
Fruit, vegetables and small tasks: the lightweight Utility 130 mm is easy to control and quicker to use than a large chef’s knife.
Care of the knives and acacia stand
- Wash the knives by hand with a soft sponge after use and dry them immediately.
- Do not put the knives or wooden stand in the dishwasher.
- Cut on a wooden or suitable plastic cutting board. Glass, stone and ceramic quickly dull the edge.
- Do not use the knives on bones, deeply frozen food, for prying or opening packaging.
- Clean the stand only with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it. Do not soak it in water.
- Place the stand on a level, stable and dry work surface at a safe distance from the edge.
- Place the full flat of the blade against the stand and hold the handle firmly when removing the knife. Do not slide the edge or tip across the wood.
Safe use
Kitchen knives are extremely sharp. Use a stable cutting board, keep your fingers away from the cutting path and never leave knives hidden under a cloth or among dishes. Keep the magnetic stand out of reach of small children and always make sure the blade is held securely on the magnetic surface.

1. What exactly does this set include?
The set includes a Chef 200 mm knife, a 198 mm bread and pastry knife, a Chef 155 mm knife, a Utility 130 mm knife and an acacia wood magnetic stand.
2. Is the magnetic stand really free?
Yes. The Dellinger acacia wood magnetic stand is included in this set completely free of charge, with no additional fee.
3. How many knives fit on the stand?
The stand offers space for approximately 4–5 kitchen knives. Actual capacity depends on the length, width and shape of the individual blades.
4. What are the dimensions of the magnetic stand?
When unfolded, the stand is 255 mm wide, 215 mm high and 130 mm deep. Knives are stored on one side only.
5. Which knife will I use most often?
For most main kitchen tasks, you will probably use the Chef 200 mm. If you prefer a shorter and more agile blade, the Chef 155 mm is a suitable alternative.
6. What is the difference between the Chef 200 and 155 mm knives?
The Chef 200 mm offers a longer cutting edge and more room when preparing larger ingredients. The Chef 155 mm is more compact, easier to control and also suits users with smaller hands.
7. What is the Utility 130 mm knife designed for?
The Utility knife is suitable for smaller fruit and vegetables, small pieces of meat and other precise tasks where a large chef’s knife would be unnecessarily long.
8. Can the bread knife also be used for cakes?
Yes. The serrated edge can also be used for certain sponge cakes, Swiss rolls or ingredients with a firmer surface and soft interior. Cut with a smooth stroke without unnecessary pressure.
9. Can the knives be washed in a dishwasher?
We do not recommend a dishwasher. Harsh detergents, high temperatures and contact with other utensils can damage the edge and handle. Wash the knives by hand and dry them immediately.
10. How should I care for the acacia stand?
Remove dust and dirt with a soft, slightly damp cloth and then dry the stand. Do not soak it in water or put it in the dishwasher. Place it on a dry, stable surface.
