Solid acacia board for cutting, carving and serving
The Round Dellinger Acacia Cutting & Carving Board 380 × 30 mm is a sturdy kitchen board made from natural acacia wood. Its round shape makes it suitable not only for everyday food preparation, but also for serving directly at the table or during barbecues.
The board is double-sided, so both working surfaces can be used as needed. Its 30 mm thickness gives it a robust character, while the milled side grips make it easier and safer to hold, lift and carry.
Acacia wood has a distinctive natural grain and individual pieces may vary slightly in colour, structure and grain pattern. These differences are not defects, but natural characteristics of genuine wood that give each piece its own appearance.

Acacia wood – a natural look unique to every piece
Acacia wood is popular for kitchen and serving boards thanks to its distinctive natural grain. Natural colour variations give every product an individual appearance.
Because it is a natural material, individual boards may not look exactly the same. Variations in colour, structure and grain are natural characteristics of the wood, not product defects.
Cutting, carving and serving
Meat and steaks
The round work surface is practical for portioning meat and serving it afterwards.
Barbecue and BBQ
The milled hand grips make carrying the board between the kitchen, grill and table easier.
Cheese and cured meats
The natural acacia grain also makes the board suitable for use as a serving board.
Vegetables, fruit and bread
The 380 mm diameter provides ample space for everyday home food preparation.
Safe use
Use the board on a flat, clean and dry work surface and do not leave it directly at the edge of the worktop. Do not place hot cookware on it and do not expose it to direct flame. Before carrying the board, remove knives, cookware and loose ingredients.
How to care for an acacia cutting board
Natural wood does not tolerate prolonged contact with water, high temperatures or sudden changes in humidity. Clean the board by hand, dry it immediately after washing and allow it to air dry so that air can circulate around both sides.
If the wood begins to look dry over time, the clean and completely dry board can be treated as required with a product intended for wooden cutting boards and surfaces that come into contact with food.
- Wash by hand using a soft sponge or cloth.
- Do not leave the board immersed in water for prolonged periods.
- Do not wash it in a dishwasher.
- Dry it immediately after washing.
- Allow it to air dry with airflow around both sides.
- Do not dry it on a radiator or directly next to another heat source.
- Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, wire scrubbers or ordinary cooking oils that may become rancid over time.
Wooden cutting boards and knife edges
An acacia cutting board is suitable for normal use with kitchen knives. When using very hard and finely sharpened Japanese knives, we recommend working without excessive pressure, avoiding chopping and not using the knife on bones or hard frozen ingredients.

TÜV SÜD and SGS – independent laboratory testing
With wooden kitchen cutting boards, attention is paid not only to material selection and quality of workmanship, but also to available documentation and laboratory testing of selected samples.
A TÜV SÜD laboratory report is available for a selected sample of an acacia wood kitchen cutting board. A separate SGS report relates to a specific tested adhesive sample.
TÜV SÜD – testing relating to food contact
A selected sample of an acacia wood kitchen cutting board was subjected to laboratory testing by TÜV SÜD.
The testing was carried out with reference to German LFGB requirements (§ 30 and 31) and Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 for materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
The laboratory tests included specific migration of formaldehyde, pentachlorophenol, extractable lead, cadmium and mercury, as well as sensory assessment of possible taste and odour transfer.
The tested sample achieved a PASS result in the summary of the tests performed.
| Test | Tested sample result | Requirement / recommended level |
|---|---|---|
| Specific migration of formaldehyde | < 3 mg/kg | ≤ 15 mg/kg |
| Pentachlorophenol (PCP) | < 0.05 mg/kg | ≤ 0.1 mg/kg |
| Extractable lead (Pb) | < 0.1 mg/kg | ≤ 3 mg/kg |
| Extractable cadmium (Cd) | < 0.1 mg/kg | ≤ 0.5 mg/kg |
| Extractable mercury (Hg) | < 0.1 mg/kg | ≤ 0.3 mg/kg |
| Sensory test – odour transfer | Grade 1 | recommended < 2 |
| Sensory test – taste transfer | Grade 1 | recommended < 2 |
In the sensory assessment, Grade 1 means only a just perceptible taste or odour deviation.
The results apply to the specific tested sample identified in the relevant laboratory report.

SGS – testing for selected hazardous substances
A separate laboratory report from SGS relates to a specific tested adhesive sample.
- cadmium (Cd),
- lead (Pb),
- mercury (Hg),
- hexavalent chromium Cr(VI),
- polybrominated biphenyls (PBB),
- polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE),
- phthalates DBP, BBP, DEHP and DIBP.
The tested sample complied with the relevant limits of RoHS (EU) 2015/863.
The SGS report relates to the specific tested adhesive sample. The SGS RoHS report itself is not certification of the finished kitchen cutting board for direct food contact.
The laboratory results apply to the specific tested samples identified in the relevant reports. They do not automatically mean that every individual size or product code was separately laboratory tested.
The attached laboratory reports allow you to review the scope of the tests performed, the test methods used and identification of the specific tested samples.
Frequently asked questions
What is the diameter of the cutting board?
The cutting board has a diameter of 380 mm.
How thick is the cutting board?
The cutting board is 30 mm thick.
How much does the cutting board weigh?
The cutting board weighs 2.58 kg.
Is the cutting board double-sided?
Yes. Both working surfaces can be used as required.
Is the board suitable for serving?
Yes. Its round shape and natural acacia grain make it suitable for serving cheese, cured meats, meat and grilled food.

Does every piece look the same?
No. Because it is natural wood, the colour, grain and structure may vary slightly from piece to piece.
Was an acacia cutting board laboratory tested?
A TÜV SÜD laboratory report is available for a selected sample of an acacia wood kitchen cutting board. The tested sample achieved a PASS result in the summary of the tests performed. The result applies to the specific sample identified in the laboratory report.
What was examined during TÜV SÜD testing?
The tests included specific migration of formaldehyde, pentachlorophenol, extractable lead, cadmium and mercury, as well as sensory assessment of possible taste and odour transfer.
What were the TÜV SÜD test results?
Formaldehyde migration was below 3 mg/kg against a maximum requirement of 15 mg/kg. Pentachlorophenol was below 0.05 mg/kg against a limit of 0.1 mg/kg. Extractable lead, cadmium and mercury were below 0.1 mg/kg and below their respective limits. Taste and odour transfer were both rated Grade 1 against a recommended level below 2.
What does the SGS report verify?
The SGS report relates to a specific tested adhesive sample and examines selected hazardous substances including cadmium, lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE and the phthalates DBP, BBP, DEHP and DIBP. The tested sample complied with the relevant limits of RoHS (EU) 2015/863.
Where can I find the complete laboratory documentation?
