Japanese Damascus steel AUS-10 – sharpness, toughness, beauty
The blade core is made of AUS-10 Damascus steel hardened to 60 ± 1 HRC (Rockwell). This core is sandwiched between 66 layers of two stainless steels of different hardness, delivering outstanding durability, strength, and flexibility. The ROSE Damascus pattern evokes a blooming rose garden, reduces cutting friction, and helps prevent food from sticking. Thanks to the precise finish, the blade is easy to maintain and keeps its edge for a long time. For optimal sharpening, we recommend water sharpening stones.
