Knives from the Pirge DUO Butcher series made of X50CrMoV15 stainless steel are intended for both professional operations and everyday home use. The blade hardness reaches 56 HRC and is ground at an angle of 20 degrees. The knife shapes have been designed by professionals with many years of experience. Boning, cutting and skinning - nothing will be a problem for these knives. The warranty on these knives is 5 years and covers non-mechanical damage and manufacturing defects.

The handle of the PIRGE DUO professional knives is ergonomic, comfortable and soft for long-lasting use. The core of the handle is made of injection-moulded polypropylene (PPC), which is resistant to temperatures up to 120 degrees Celsius and allows a permanent and stable connection between the blade and the handle. The surface is made of injection-moulded thermoplastic softened rubber (TPE), which is absolutely non-slip. This special non-slip handle prevents the knife from slipping in wet or greasy conditions (also effective with gloves). The soft rubberised handle does not cause blisters, allowing easy and fatigue-free work. In the food industry, the colour of the handle specifies the knives according to the ingredients to be cut. This allows for better hygienic control of sliced products, all based on European standards HACCP.

6. Can the knives be washed in the dishwasher?
   We do not recommend it. Steel with a high carbon content can oxidise in the dishwasher due to the action of chemicals. Hot water and pressure can also damage the blade. Therefore, it is better to wash the knives by hand.

7. Are Duo knives suitable for slaughtering animals?
   Yes, thanks to the non-slip plastic handle, they do not slip even when in contact with blood or grease. The knives are safe, ergonomic and provide high performance, making them suitable for this activity.
