Knives Dellinger Longevity Damascus Edition have a cutting core made of 10Cr15CoMoV steel - equivalent to Japanese VG-10, with high hardness and excellent resistance, which is very well protected against corrosion and external mechanical damage. 10Cr15CoMoV steel has unique sharpness with a hardness of R61 +/- 1 Rockwell. The core is sandwiched between 66 layers of two stainless steels of different hardness (Damascus steel), which ensure exceptional durability and toughness. This layering ensures maximum toughness and durability, The perfectly balanced, precisely tapered Japanese-shaped blade with a shimmering damascene STORMY WAVES pattern minimises friction when cutting and prevents the material being cut from sticking to the blade. The Damascene pattern reminiscent of stormy seas STORMY WAVES is unique, unrepeatable and will become a symbol of your individuality.
