Detailed information

Product detailed description

Bread knife 210 mm Dellinger® Longevity Damascus Edition

Specialized bread and pastry knife with a long 210 mm serrated Damascus blade, 10Cr15CoMoV steel core, 61 ± 1 HRC hardness, STORMY WAVES pattern and elegant Figured sycamore wood handle. Ideal for crispy crust, soft crumb, baguettes, bundt cakes, cake bases, melon and pineapple.

Bread knife 210 mm Dellinger® Longevity Damascus Edition

Bread knife 210 mm Dellinger® Longevity Damascus Edition is a specialized kitchen knife with a long serrated blade designed for clean bread slicing without unnecessary crumbling, tearing or crushing of the soft crumb. Thanks to the 210 mm blade length, it comfortably handles fresh bread, baguettes, rolls, croissants, bundt cakes, cake bases and larger fruit.

The serrated edge works best on foods with a firmer or crispy surface and soft interior. It bites into the crust while avoiding unnecessary pressure on the crumb, so bread stays fluffy and crumbles less. It also works well for cakes, pies, melon, pineapple and larger tomatoes.

The Dellinger® Longevity Damascus Edition series combines a Damascus blade, the STORMY WAVES pattern, 10Cr15CoMoV steel core and an elegant Figured sycamore wood handle.

Benefits of using a Bread knife

Dellinger info Clean cut without crushing pastry

The serrated edge bites into crispy crust and gently passes through soft crumb, so bread, rolls and baguettes stay fluffy and crumble less.

Dellinger info Long 210 mm blade

The blade length is practical for larger loaves, baguettes, braided bread, bundt cakes, cake bases and large fruit such as melon or pineapple.

Dellinger info For firm surface and soft interior

Ideal for foods that smooth blades often crush or tear: bread, croissants, pies, cakes, tomatoes, melon and pineapple.

Dellinger info Elegant Figured sycamore handle

The sycamore wood handle looks warm, luxurious and natural. Triple riveting provides a strong connection between blade and handle.

Damascus steel blade with serrated edge

The cutting core is made of 10Cr15CoMoV steel, equivalent to Japanese VG-10. This steel is popular for high hardness, excellent sharpness, corrosion resistance and easier maintenance.

The cutting core reaches approximately 61 ± 1 HRC and is placed between 66 layers of stainless steels. The Damascus pattern STORMY WAVES evokes a stormy sea and gives the knife a unique appearance.

The serrated edge is designed mainly for bread and foods with a firmer surface and soft interior. Do not use the knife for chopping bones, frozen foods or very hard ingredients. If noticeably dull, professional sharpening is recommended because a serrated edge requires a different method than a smooth blade.

Figured sycamore handle – sycamore wood as a symbol of longevity

The western-style Figured sycamore handle is made of sycamore wood with a distinctive decorative grain. Its texture may resemble flames, waves or fine stripes. This natural appearance gives the knife an elegant, warm and luxurious character.

Sycamore is often described as a tree of longevity thanks to its resilience, robustness and ability to reach great age. The Longevity series therefore symbolizes strength, lasting value and a tool designed to serve in the kitchen for many years.

Triple riveting and firm connection

The handle is firmly connected to the blade with triple riveting and a decorative central rivet. This supports stability, a secure grip and long service life during regular use.

Premium gift packaging

Knives from this series are carefully stored in an elegant gift box made of light wood. The packaging emphasizes the premium character of the series and makes the knife a suitable gift for lovers of quality craftsmanship, cooking and beautiful kitchen tools.

Sharpening the bread knife

The serrated edge of a bread knife requires a different approach than a classic smooth blade. For routine care, wash the knife gently by hand, dry it immediately and store it safely so that the teeth are not damaged. If the edge becomes noticeably dull, professional sharpening is recommended. We also regularly organize knife sharpening courses.

Dellinger sharpening and kitchen knife care

Cleaning the kitchen knife

Particles of aggressive substances attached to the blade surface may corrode and create stains that look like rust. In such cases, it is usually not the blade itself that rusts, but the attached impurities. To remove them, you can use baking soda mixed with a little water into a fine paste and an old cork.

Dellinger warranty

Products delivered by Dellinger come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Each product is carefully checked and comes with a lifetime warranty against hidden defects.
