Product detailed description
Chef's Knife Gyuto 180 mm Dellinger Essence „Šéfík“ No. 14
A compact, versatile chef's knife for meat, vegetables, herbs and everyday food preparation. A more manoeuvrable alternative to a larger Gyuto.
Šéfík – a Versatile Gyuto in a More Compact Size
Dellinger Essence „Šéfík“ No. 14 is the fourteenth knife in the Dellinger Essence series and is a versatile Gyuto chef's knife with a 180 mm blade.
Designed for everyday kitchen work, it combines the versatility of a classic chef's knife with the manoeuvrability of a shorter blade. It is suitable for meat, vegetables, onions, herbs and most common kitchen ingredients.
Chef Jan Punčochář collaborated on the development of the Dellinger Essence series. Šéfík was created as a smaller, more manoeuvrable alternative to the Velký Šéf model – for anyone who prefers a chef's knife with a shorter blade and excellent control.
The taller blade profile provides ample finger clearance above the cutting board and makes chopping, slicing and transferring prepared ingredients more comfortable. Weighing approximately 200 g, the knife offers a good balance between stability and manoeuvrability.
Knives from the Dellinger Essence series are suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users. The ergonomically shaped synthetic Pakkawood handle provides a comfortable, secure grip during everyday use.

German 1.4116 Steel – Reliable for Everyday Use
The blade is made from German 1.4116 stainless steel with a hardness of approximately 56–58 HRC. This steel offers a good balance of sharpness, toughness, corrosion resistance and ease of resharpening.
Each knife is sharpened by hand and inspected before dispatch to ensure it is ready for immediate use and meets the standards of the Dellinger Essence series.
