Product detailed description
Chinese All-Purpose Knife Tao 180 mm Dellinger Essence "Sekáč" No. 07
A tall, versatile slicing knife inspired by Asian cuisine, designed for vegetables, boneless meat and quickly preparing larger quantities of ingredients.
Cleaver – a tall blade for fast, precise cutting
Dellinger Essence "Sekáč" No. 07 is the seventh knife in the Dellinger Essence series. It is a Chinese all-purpose kitchen knife of the Tao / Cleaver type, featuring a tall 180 mm blade.
Its main advantage is the tall, wide blade, which is excellent for quickly chopping vegetables and preparing thin strips of bell pepper, cabbage, iceberg lettuce, onions and other larger ingredients.
The large blade surface allows you to conveniently scoop up chopped ingredients from the cutting board and transfer them directly to a pan, pot or bowl. Weighing approximately 280 g, the knife feels stable while still providing good control during everyday cutting.
Although its shape resembles a traditional cleaver and it carries the name "Sekáč", it is primarily designed for cutting and portioning ordinary kitchen ingredients, not for chopping bones or other very hard materials.
Knives from the Dellinger Essence series are suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users. The ergonomically shaped synthetic Pakkawood handle provides a comfortable, secure grip during everyday use.

German 1.4116 steel – durable and easy to maintain
The blade is made from German 1.4116 stainless steel with a hardness of approximately 56–58 HRC. This steel offers a good balance of sharpness, toughness, corrosion resistance and ease of resharpening.
Each knife is hand-sharpened and inspected before dispatch to ensure that it is ready for immediate use and meets the standards of the Dellinger Essence series.

Ergonomic Pakkawood Handle

The brown, textured handle is hand-polished and ergonomically shaped. It provides a secure grip and helps maintain good control when using the tall blade for fast cutting.
Knife Care and Washing
We recommend washing kitchen knives by hand only in warm water with a mild detergent and drying them thoroughly immediately afterwards. Never put the knife in a dishwasher. High temperatures, harsh detergents and contact with other utensils may damage the cutting edge, blade surface and handle, and significantly accelerate dulling. To preserve the knife's long service life, maximum sharpness and attractive appearance, hand washing followed by immediate drying is the gentlest and recommended maintenance method.
