Detailed information

Product detailed description

Bread knife 215 mm Dellinger® Carbon Fiber Octagon

Premium bread knife with a long 215 mm serrated Damascus blade, 10Cr15CoMoV steel core, 61 ± 1 HRC hardness and a light octagonal handle made of carbon fiber and G10. Ideal for bread, baguettes, rolls, bundt cakes, cakes, melon, pineapple and foods with a firmer surface and soft interior.

Bread knife 215 mm Dellinger® Carbon Fiber Octagon

Bread 215 mm Dellinger® Carbon Fiber Octagon is a specialized kitchen knife with a long serrated blade designed for clean bread slicing without unnecessary crumbling, crushing or tearing of the crumb. Thanks to the 215 mm blade length, it comfortably handles fresh bread, baguettes, harder rolls, sandwich bread, bundt cakes and larger pastry products.

The serrated edge is ideal for foods with a firmer or crispy surface and soft interior. The knife therefore works well not only with bread and pastries, but also with cakes, pies, melon, pineapple or larger tomatoes. The cut is smooth and gentle, helping preserve the shape and structure of the sliced ingredient.

The Dellinger® Carbon Fiber Octagon series combines modern technical materials, a Damascus blade and elegant Japanese ergonomics. Knives from this series are visually striking, light and fit both right- and left-handed users very well.

Benefits of using a Bread knife

Dellinger information Clean cut without crushing bread

The serrated edge bites into the crispy crust and gently passes through the soft crumb, so bread stays fluffy and crumbles less.

Dellinger information Long 215 mm blade

The blade length is suitable for loaves of bread, baguettes, sweet braided bread, bundt cakes, cake bases and larger fruit such as melon or pineapple.

Dellinger information For firm surface and soft interior

The knife is ideal for foods that a smooth edge often crushes or tears: bread, delicate pastry, cakes, tomatoes, melon and pineapple.

Dellinger information Light octagonal handle

The octagonal handle made of carbon fiber and G10 sits well in the hand, provides a secure grip and is suitable for right- and left-handed users.

Damascus steel blade with serrated edge

The cutting edge of knives from the Dellinger® Carbon Fiber Octagon series has a cutting core made of 10Cr15CoMoV steel, equivalent to Japanese VG-10. This steel is popular for high hardness, excellent sharpness, good corrosion resistance and easier maintenance.

The cutting core reaches approximately 61 ± 1 HRC and is placed between 66 layers of stainless steels with different hardness levels. This layering provides toughness, stability and blade durability. The Damascus pattern Ice Hypnosis emphasizes the premium appearance of the knife and sets it apart from ordinary bread knives.

The serrated edge is designed mainly for bread and foods with a firmer surface. Do not use the knife for chopping bones, frozen foods or very hard ingredients. If the edge needs restoring, we recommend professional sharpening because a serrated edge requires a different method than a classic smooth blade.

Ergonomic carbon fiber and G10 handle

The traditional octagonal handle provides a safe and comfortable grip even during longer work. Most of the handle consists of carbon fiber set in resin, while the section near the blade is made of black G10. G10 is a composite material with high resistance to moisture, temperature changes and mechanical wear.

Thanks to the low weight, strength and stability of the materials, the handle is pleasant to hold and requires no special maintenance. The octagonal shape also helps guide the blade precisely and is suitable for right- and left-handed users.

Appearance inspired by space

The dark carbon handle evokes the endless universe and, together with the Damascus blade, creates a unique kitchen tool. Good balance minimizes hand fatigue and provides high control over every cut.

Luxury packaging – an ideal gift

Each knife is carefully stored in an elegant wooden gift box, which emphasizes its premium character. The combination of top-quality workmanship, exclusive materials and precise presentation makes this series a suitable gift for every lover of quality kitchen knives.

Sharpening the bread knife

The serrated edge of a bread knife requires a different approach than a classic smooth blade. For routine care, we recommend gentle hand washing, immediate drying and safe storage so that the teeth of the edge are not damaged. If the edge becomes noticeably dull, professional sharpening is recommended. We also regularly organize knife sharpening courses.

Cleaning the kitchen knife

Particles of aggressive substances attached to the blade surface may corrode and create stains that look like rust. To remove them, you can use baking soda mixed with a little water into a fine paste and an old cork.
